It’s so annoying when people say you’re a fake fan just because you haven’t
been with the boys since the beginning. Like, we all love them as much as
the old fans. I discovered them when I saw the Billboard Music Awards, but
I still cry and fangirl and talk about 5SOS as much as the old fans do.
Believe it or not, I cry about 5SOS everyday and I’m not exaggerating it.
We’re a wonderful fandom, and we all know that, so can we please start
being kind and respectful to one another because we’re a family and
families love each other.

Why all the hate on new fans? I’m a fan since summer 2014 and like every
new fan i can only wish i had known about them before. And you all make us
feel unwelcomed and not wanted in the fandom that we love, so please cut it
out…

I love you, 5SOS, you guys keep rocking my world and I feel all the better
for it, even though it’s hard to keep from crying.
5# Seconds of Summer – Heartbreak Girl
I applaud these guys for actually starting a band from scratch AND they
kill the instrument playing. Like, each of them can actually play an
instrument.
And, from my opinion, I think they deserve more credit than 1D gets (I only
applaud Niall for the guitar playing skills) since chances are, the reason
why they’re like, one of the hottest acts right now are due to the
fangirls.
And that’s it, they mostly appeal to the hormonal teenagers.
5SOS, meanwhile, fought for their spot right now in the limelight, and they
appeal to mainstream rock, pop fans and fangirls.
They write their own songs, not all about love (99% of music right now) and
have meaning to the songs.
(Note: Personal Opinion, don’t attack it) I only admire boy bands (1D) if
they have the sufficient vocal talents, which they don’t (Only Zayn has
what it takes vocally, don’t even get me started at Louis’ vocals)
P.S: I don’t hate 1D, I just truly believe that behind all the fangirls,
screams and hormones, 5SOS edges out, a lot compared to most of the groups
out there in the market.

New fans are more than welcome to join the fam. Why are some people making
a big deal out of it? Yes, of course some people are only noticing Luke.
But don’t make it a stereotype for all new fans. Some people actually like
each four members. Saying that all new fans are the same just makes you
ignorant and close minded.
The 5sos fam was always nice and welcoming, please don’t make me change my
mind about that. I love the fam cause we always respected and loved each
other. The boys are talented, sweet, and attractive so it makes it hard not
become a fan when you first discover them. And if you encounter people who
only like the boys for their looks or only like Luke or any other member,
leave them like that. They’re not worth wasting your time on. We don’t need
to point out the obvious anyway.
To the new fans out there: I’m happy that you discovered them cause they’re
such great talented idiots. Their music deserves to be heard by many. And
when you see them in their fetus(younger) days, you’ll smile about how much
they’ve changed. Music, looks, and personality wise. :)
