It is actually cinema, a story arc so well told, filmed and played that it
should be “Oscar” material.
This little short conveys EXACTLY how I felt as a kid.
With my early abilities for the sport inversely proportional to this later
age absolute passion for it, I was systematically one of the last “players”
to be picked-up for any street soccer team.
Still, it didn’t matter because, as soon as I touched the ball, I was one
the idols from my trading cards collection and the convenient street
cul-de-sac where we played became the largest, most attended stadium I
could dream of.
